ROKETSAN and STM, two leading companies of the Turkish defence industry, have joined forces to develop ALPAGUT, a Smart Loitering Munition System that will change the rules in the warfare environment. For the first time, a civilian base station was integrated into the AKSUNGUR Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) platform developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries as Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE+) class. With this capability, mobile communication will be provided uninterruptedly through DataLink systems in disaster situations. HİSAR A+ (Low Altitude Air Defense Missile System) and HİSAR O+ (Medium Altitude Air Defense System), which were developed with domestic and national capabilities, entered the inventory as of 2021, continue to impress with their capabilities. The operational tests and capability demonstration firings of the GÖKER 35mm Multi-Purpose Weapon System, conducted with ASELSAN's own resources, were completed at the Ministry of National Defense Karapınar firing range.
